Doug's page

Hey thanks for checking out our new website and seeing what we're up to.  Radio has come a long way in the 11 years I've worked for KXKX/KSDL/KSIS and be on the look out for some new additions in the future.   What those are I can't say, but just tune or check things out frequently.

Here are some of my favorite sites to visit.

I'm a big fan of history and hope you can contribute to saving America's oldest major league baseball park, in Tiger Stadium.  Detroit is where my family is from and they need a shot in the arm, this could be a step in the right direction for them and for us as American's to remember sports and architectural legacy.  Visit presevertigerstadium.com

to find out more info and contribute to the cause.  I continue the fight to save the field!  Doug, Gabriel, and Lillibeth on a family outing to Tiger Stadium. Goodbye old Friend!

This is my last photo of Tiger STadium,  Gabriel and Lillibeth enjoyed their time seeing the historic portions of Tiger STadium, known as Navin Field.   Thanks to the OTSC for making it possible for me to see the history.  With that in mind, please visit this page if you've never seen Tiger Stadium

Then let's not forget I said my family is from Detroit, but my father proudly served the Air Force for 20 + plus years and in that time I've been all over the globe.  Born in California, lived near Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany and finished up at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.   I liked the area so much, I decided to stay, but I'll never forget the stories and friends I made along the way, for that check out   militarybrats.com and overseasbrats.com
